This 6 week course builds on concepts introduced in Liberated Body part 1 by showing you how to apply the work to your own body’s unique needs for healthy movement.
By furthering your understanding of ideal connections between body parts in the gait cycle, you will gain the tools to become your own best movement therapist, and communicate with your body therapy/movement team more effectively.
New in this workshop is working at the level of primary (also known as infant or primitive) reflexes– The foundation for all higher level movement patterns, including adult, upright gait.
As in part 1, you’ll learn to assess what your body is missing from its movement vocabulary, and be guided through movement explorations designed for you to reclaim those missing motions.
Every week will have “homework”, which I am here to discuss with you as you move through the weekly movement lessons.
At the end of this 6 week series of lessons you will have a much greater understanding of how your body is holding in three dimensional space, what movements your body is missing that need to be reclaimed, and have built your own personal movement practice to move your best, with less pain and inefficiencies.
